Why we do it this way
Restoration is a trade where cutting corners is easy and invisible. Skip the moisture readings and the wall looks fine until the next humid summer. Skip the containment and spores move into rooms that were never wet. Skip the documentation and an insurance claim stalls while you are living somewhere else.
So we do the slower version: measure, contain, remove what is affected, dry it and prove it is dry. It is not more dramatic. It is what holds up.

Four things we will not skip.
Measure it, do not guess it
A wall that looks dry can still hold water behind the paint. Every job starts and ends with readings — moisture, humidity, thermal images and lab results where they apply — so the work is based on what is actually there.
Document everything
Photos before and after, dried-in readings, and a written scope. Insurance companies ask for this, landlords ask for this, and you should be able to read exactly what was done in your building.
Fix the cause, not just the growth
Mold comes back if the moisture behind it is still there. Finding the source is part of the job, not an upsell.
